Yeah, I saw that post on your blog, which looked pretty cool. And I do have a couple old laptops that might work. That said, I’m really lazy.
Geek factor aside, it’s hard to justify spending so much time when the price difference is only $150 (although screen quality/size on the home-builts is a bit better).
True, except that I already have the laptop… so unless there’s a hidden cost somewhere I’m not thinking of, I’m guessing homebrew would be quite a bit cheaper.
