This is why you should care about what Google does with your info - because it’s not just whether you think Google is evil, it’s also whether or not they retain your information and will allow (or here, may be forced to allow) someone else to look at it.  Every search for something on the internet that you don’t want the government (or someone else) to know about?  Then you should care.
