1. Go on awesome camping trip with a bunch of friends. Eat a ton, hike a little, raft in the ocean.
2. Get back, shower, eat dinner, and immediately do see Sonic Youth open for Pearl Jam
3. ???
4. Profit!

The show was great, I’m still riding an emotional high 12 hours later. Matt and Jim can attest to the fact that I skipped/jumped pretty much all the way from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to the Castro, where they were parked. Actually, it’s all I can do to avoid bouncing right now.

I’m going to have to put that show, and especially the extended “Rearviewmirror”, in my top five concert experiences ever. Two more minutes and I would have been speaking in tongues.
