These are a few little apps I wrote to use the iTunes COM SDK to make it easier for me to distribute the Neuralgraffiti Mixtapes, and easier for my the others to import them.
They’re all pretty simple, but I figure someone might find them useful. Full code to be published once I clean it up a little, and once I decide on which license to use.
For now, you can download an executable version of the importer.
To use the importer, open iTunes, and then drag and drop one of the mixtape zip files on it. You’ll see a window flash open for a sec, and once it goes away, you should have a new playlist in iTunes - the mixtape. One caveat, the files are unzipped to a temporary directory, so after importing, you may want to consider using the “Consolidate Your Library” feature to move the files out of the temporary directory and to your iTunes folder. If you get any errors using the importer, or it doesn’t work as expected, let me know, and I’ll see if I can help you.
